The applicant interested in this position must comply with the following qualifications /
minimum requirements:
• Manage and oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal
• downtime.
• Coordinate and supervise workshop activities, including building construction, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all workshop operations.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules and records for all equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Manage and train workshop staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Trucks maintenance.
• Ensure that all maintenance work adheres to company policies and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Millwright qualification or relevant higher qualification with 5 years’ experience
• Experience in electrical and refrigeration maintenance is required.
• Ammonia and freon qualification and experience.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Plumbing knowledge and experience.
• Roadworks knowledge and experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively and provide clear instructions.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Sober habits and excellent health.
• Own/reliable transport is essential.
• Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
